I have owned the building that contains my studio and gallery in Philadelphia for 30 years and I have faced many challenges as a small business owned by a person of color.
I have put every ounce of my core being into this business and I strive to paint the truth of my life everyday… I only paint with authenticity. I have never been on the verge of collapse until now. Hurricane Ida completely wiped out my entire collection and damaged the structure of my building. All that is left right now are oil, acrylic and mixed media paintings covered in river mud. All of my brushes, canvases and boards are damaged beyond use.

Joanna Catherine Schröder aka Joanna Legid is an analogue photographer capturing people, things and places through the lense of her camera.
With a love for the intimate moment between staged poses and a trained eye for imperfection, her work focuses on fashion, portraying especially women as well as her travels.
It is the beauty in the little things and the imperfections that trigger her attention.

Nathalie is a passionate and free-spirited film maker, experiential designer and creative director.
She translates her curatorial skills and creative zest for design into an evolving practice focusing on: spatial storytelling, video and motion graphics, (post)production, set design, large format multimedia installations, interactive environments, live shows, events and creative consultancy.
Over the years she has worked closely with international museum curators and leading brands to develop innovative projects for many different formats, both temporary and permanent.
Her vast technical and creative experience encompasses every step of a project: starting with initial concept, strategy and budget, to content development and design, directing post-production teams, up to the final on-site technical integration.
Nathalie’s creative intent is to explore and push the boundaries of immersive spatial experiences, creating new levels of engagement with audiences, integrating new media techniques and discovering yet unknown pastures of the digital landscape.
She has bounced around Montreal, Phoenix, Belgium and Berlin before now landing in New York.
This transatlanticism reflects in her professional experience, creative work, languages, and interests.

Romy Maxime is a Swiss South African photographer known for her reportage style portraits and fashion work. Mixing both digital and analogue techniques, her signature style is defined by cinematic black and white portraits of people. Her work explores themes of vulnerability, joy and beauty with a special focus on women, art portraits and lifestyle. Poetry, the works of classic art photographers and personal imprints from a life of travel are Romy's key influences. After completing a degree in finance at the Wharton School in Philadelphia, she furthered careers in journalism and advertising, moving between Berlin and Cape Town.
She has created an art book on women entitled "Librations" and is represented by Berlin Art Gallery PALM Berlin. . She works commercially (in colour) for home and interior, events, fashion look-books, portraits, family shoots and lifestyle advertising. Some of her clientele include Rolling Stone Magazine, The Mail & Guardian, Vice Magazine, Innervisions Music, Ry X, Traffic Magazine, Bo & Luca, Wilhelmina, Lalesso and Meerstein as well as features in Vogue Magazine.

Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, he has worked under some of the most prestigious film directors in the Asia Pacific, including Wong Kar-Wai, Pietra Brettkelley & Lixin Fan to name a few, and had his work broadcast across Asia, Europe and Australasia. He is passionate about the world and utilising media as a means to educate, communicate and inspire positive change.
